Wonderful setup, not large variety of animals

The park itself was wonderful as it is built between small green mountains. However don't expect to see similar variety of animals what you would see in e.g. Berlin zoo. ;)

Visited for a day whilst in Martinique with the Disney Magic Cruise ship. The Zoo and gardens are so pretty. Beautifully maintained and the animals all appeared healthy and well looked after. There are not a huge variety but more than enough to wander leisurely around for 2 hours. My favourite were the raccoons ! There are also some additional... More

Loved this zoo! There is a safe boardwalk path leading you along a loop which keeps the kids from roaming too far away. The plants throughout are beautiful and there are trees to create shade in a lot of areas. The ruins and old machinery make the enclosures and the zoo something different and special. There is an interesting variety... More

We drove in from the south, took about 90 minutes, but was completely worth the drive. Zoo was one of the most beautifully landscaped we've ever been too. Property was clean, animals appeared well looked after and staff were friendly. Great way to spend a morning and enjoy a simple lunch in the cafe after.

A pleasant place for a stroll among trees, plants and various animal enclosures, made easy by a boarded walkway, which takes around 90 minutes with stops. It is built in the grounds of an old distillery, and there are remains of the buildings and machinery, which add to the ambiance of the place. Animals include jaguar, puma, wallabees, aardvark, monkeys,... More

THis was a nice attraction however more for the historical perspective of habitation Latouche than for the zoo.

My wife and I enjoyed this zoo tremendously. Very nice grounds, big, clean enclosures and a nice combination of the historic ruins with modern animal husbandry. The mix of botanical garden, zoo and industrial museum works very well and is worth a visit.

If you are a fan of zoos, this is a must-see zoo in Martinique. The exhibits are beautiful and the grounds throughout the zoo are amazing. The zoo is built on a former plantation and the ruins still remain and are incorporated into the zoo habitats and grounds. The zoo features many different species of animals, birds and reptiles. The... More

Very nice place. Historic surroundings. Saw most of the animals. Just a few were out if sight. A must see for parents with young kids.

I really wasn't expecting much but was so impressed. Obviously, most of the animals are not native to the island but I was nicely surprised that they were able to acquire some really exotic animals. And plus, they even made even average raccoons look so cute!!! I also enjoyed walking the grounds of the zoo. They planned it out really... More
