An excellent place to find some ancient artifacts reflecting the unique cultural experience in Sardinia. A very good interactive exhibition enhances your ability to see some of these artifacts close up. There is a haunting quality to this museum in that archeologists are uncertain as...More

if you are visiting western sardinia, make sure not to miss the famous stone giants in this museum, made by nuragic civilization some eight centuries before christ.

Worth to see, 1-1,5 hours are enough. Interresting local history, but mainly only in Italian. Giants are also there!

surprised to see that Sardinia had so many undiscovered relics predating most of the Med. lovely museum you should see this if you are going to Tharros. Staff very helpful.

Worth combining with Tharros and the tower [all available on the same ticket] but sensible to check opening times before you go as some closures could result in disappointment

This is only a small museum but it is well laid out and the staff are really friendly and willing to give you any information you require to enjoy your visit.

Excellent layout and lots of historical finds on display in cabinets. Not all had English translations, but fine examples of pieces from centuries ago.

Went there with some friends. We wanted to visit the famous "Giganti" because of the long and untold story behind them. Good that you can combine the ticket to visit Tharros as well.

Very interesting museum. It is not a huge exposition, but we found it fascinating. At the entrance, a girl explains to you all the secrets and worthy information. Staff very competent and friendly
