Good swim in the waves
Jan. 2019 • Couples
Lovely clean beach but strong waves.
Had a relaxing couple of hours with umbrella and chairs.
People were very friendly and lots of families.
Easy cab ride from centre of town.

Fine for families
Dec. 2018 • Couples
The protection of a small cliff and a small coast makes this a fine site for families and kids. Hotels, restaurants, clean warm waters are excellent for spending the whole day here.

Quiet beach for relaxing
Oct. 2017 • Solo
For people who prefer a less high buildings contamination next to the beaches, this is a good option. It is a smaller beach than Balneário Camboriu’s and the still few buildings in town are lower than 4-5 stories (by law). The beach is nice, and the atmosphere looks more relaxing than in its larger neighboring city.

Peaceful and beautiful neighborhood!

Great safe beach to walk from Beira Rio Street and enjoy the views of the ocean as well as admire the old, well established neighborhood.

A Little Slip of Paradise - Cabecudas Beach
Feb. 2016 • Solo
School was ready to begin in Brazil and for the few days that I stayed in the Hotel across the street it was families with children and small dogs who frolicked there.

Although the sky was overcast it was hot and pleasant. Not a lot of shells but the tan sand and sound of the surf was enticing.

Colored flags identified if it was safe to swim.

A few rocky outcroppings gave fishermen and tidal pool enthusiasts a place to perch.

Serene and uncrowded this was a Great place to unwind, relax and enjoy being outside.

Nice beach but gets too busy.
Jan. 2016 • Friends
Probably Itajais best beach which is why it gets too busy. Lovely sand but quite narrow and close to the road. Lots of local vendors but mostly surrounded by big houses so not much in the way of bars or restaurants. Personally, if you have transport there are better beaches to head for.
