The viewpoint is spectacular. The views are amazing, both at day and night. There is a museum in the tower that makes it even more interesting.

I would highly recommend a visit! It's a fascinating, and slightly creepy, tower filled with carnival costumes/dummies. There is a different display on each level and it just kept getting better and better. Once you reach the top, there is a nice view of the...More

One of my favorite museums anywhere. I went here 3 years ago and couldn't wait to see it again. I love the many masks that people have worn during Carnival. I saw some plain wood masks at a carving shop in Triberg - several hundred...More

The main photo on Tripadvisor is the Stadtansicht und Kinzigtal in this beautiful town which is absolutely a 'must' to visit if you are in the Black Forest region. You cannot help but be amazed by the beautiful well maintained buildings..

This has the history of the town and you can discover more within the surrounding area as well. Also the Fasend Festival which is held every February in the Town.

This is more about Gengenbach then the Narrenmuseum. Here is one of those beautiful German towns in the Black Forest area. You can walk the center of town in probably 2 hours with a little stop for Kaffee or a glass of their excellent wines....More
