Love the stables

Come here every week for a riding lesson/hour ride in the woods. Love it. Reasonably priced and so much fun. All the girls/staff are lovely.

This is a big green open space to enjoy any day of the week. There is a cycle track that runs through the park and all the way to Prittlewell. There are many trees and clearings to explore and a wonderful challenging activity climbing area for young people ( small and larger) to enjoy. Adjacent to the entrance is a... More

Well worth a visit, certainly for a good stroll round let alone if you play golf, it has a good golf course to get round, not nor for beginners.

Great place to exercise the family children included not just for dogs & horses or golfers. Walked round the nature reserve too good seeing the woods being looked after as cutting logs etc as we walked round even stopped so not to scare our dog!

Lived in the area for some time now and never ever been here. What a mistake on my part! Visited yesterday with my dog and had a great afternoon out, totally safe for kids and dogs and the weather was very kind too. What are you dog owners waiting for?

I've lived locally to these woods all my life and it is the perfect place to walk dogs and have daily days out with guided pathways and scenic views. The new community centre is a great addition and features two separate playgrounds to suit younger children. It's a nice way to get out and about and is a very clean... More

I love the huge map on the wall showing all the walk routes. Great base for walks. Lots of activities and nature walks advertised there including annual 5mile run.Lovely gift shop. Lovely place for meeting people and sitting in the summer sun.

Took our two grandchildren aged 2 and a half and 6 months for a stroll, firstly to the stables to see the various ponies being groomed then through the leaves in our wellies to the fairly recently opened wildlife trust centre. We sat outside in February as the sun was bright, had our picnic lunch, watched the squirrels and birds... More
