If you visit Nusa Lembongan, try to book a boat to go down this mangrove forest. They have a kayak too if you want to have a little adventure by your own. In the forest, you can hear birds sounds and see fishes in the water if you're lucky.

We heard so much about the Mangrove Forest, that we just had to try it. After arriving, the river was on low tide, and of course the guys will do anything for a quick buck, so they insisted we get a kayak and go down this almost non-existent river. We tried it til we got stuck, got out, walked our kayak back to some water and made our way back to them. Told them we were only there for 10mins but paid for an hour. They weren't interested at that at all. It really isn't that great. But maybe during a higher tide it is? You can kayak around the whole thing so quickly. So plan something else for the rest of your day. It's far away from everything else too. …

My tip - don't take the boat tour but take kayaks instead and take a peek at mangrove forest (10 minutes is enough, it's not very impressive, shallow and muddy), then paddle to the sea and you will be welcomed with an amazing sight of crystal clear sea, white sand beach and the lush mangrove forest at the edge (not sure on what side of the mangrove forest we were, I think South, but if you go for a kayak tour, that's the side I'm talking about). Also, taking your own kayak will give you more flexibility to go where you want and it's cheaper. We paid 200k for 2 double seat kayaks. Warning - if you are afraid of spiders bear in mind that we saw one bigger than my hand in the forest. So again, going to the sea might be a better bet…
