Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you want a private boat to take you snorkeling, Fishing or manta ray swimming, look out for Captain Ketut Kedeng on the Satu Lagi. He is very kind, respectful and extremely trustworthy. Ketut know what he is doing and we felt very safe with him. Greta prices also. Don't go in a group. Get you own boat for a little bit extra.

A few bars and restaurants along the beach front. Your usual standard bali beach. Nothing spectacular. But a nice place to chill if you can get a beach bed and drinks service. If you are looking for something spectacular, Find another place.

I was pleasantly surprised. Its developed yet quaint. There were no hordes of tourists around. I was there in September though. You can find few restaurants with good vibe and tasty food. They market it as yoga / healthy. Im not a veggie and never owned a yoga mat but I enjoyed it. I stayed in one of the places on the beach, which is a good idea for people, who just want to relax with Seaview, pool and nice food. I wanted to rest after disappointent and stress of Nusa Penida. Which has no access to beaches, is full of rubish and people try to grab every tourist penny serving tastless nasi goreng colored with chilli sauce. It's not ready to give visitors value for money. Developed not always means soulless and overcrowded. Go to Nusa Lembongan and don't listen to bloggers trying to sell you a dream of virgin Penida.

Can't really enjoy this beach because it's covered in moor lines, you can't even walk the beach its like doing hurdles! It is unfortunate because the sand is the best here but there's no space with all the boats.

Take a fast Cat from Sanur and you'll be there in 1 & 1/2 hours for $50+.
Lots of choices to stay however staying in the corner of Jungut Bay gives you plenty of options. Lots of variable priced hotels dot the hillside, with plunge pools and amazing Vistas back to Bali and Mt Agung etc. The Prominade here around the shoreline offers lots of restaurants choice including easy pulling of bags to accommodation. Hire a cheap bike and see the beauty of this island in 1/2 a day without a car in site. Small island/No cars allowed. Cross the yellow bridge and see Chennigan island as well. Beautiful 4 days. 4 great trips over 34 years and still feels inoccent.

This is where you land with the ferry from Bali. You can enjoy a drink and look at the dogs and children on the beach. But it is not a place for swimming or sunbathing.

Waters were very clear but the waves were rather big. I was told that the currents there could be very strong and there were a lot of dead corals on the beach. With so many restaurants and accommodations beachfront, there were also quite a bit of broken glass, so be careful. We wore aqua shoes throughout. Did not see many people swimming. Some people did try snorkelling there but we were advised that because many boats anchor around the area, it could be quite dangerous as sometimes they cannot see you. However, we have seen people with surf boards swimming out to where the surfbreaks were.

THE BAD (WARNINGS):
Terrible and dangerous beaches for swimmers due to very very sharp coral and rocks and seaweed across all the white sand beaches. Before you go, pack rubber beach shoes -- a must If planning to walk into ocean. The boat ropes tied / moored to the beach every 50m make it difficult to walk the beach.
Don’t expect WiFi or 3g to be consistent nor to have enough speed to watch a 10second Facebook video. ATM’s work only occasionally due to poor communications and power outages.
THE GOOD:
Great for scuba divers and sun worshiping. The myriad of boats take the scuba divers from the beach to the various dives sites out past the reef. Likewise, various small "Aqua taxis" operated by locals take surfers out past the reef to the surfing spots.
Nice local islanders and reasonably good selection of food options.

Lots of Restaurants along this beach. Good for swimming at high tide.Safe beach for swimming as there is an outer reef that stops most of the waves.

Good long walks. Reef about 400 yards out. Good for swimming but no Lifeguard patrol. Bars, restaurants, hotels, juice bars along the main drag. Hire paddle boards. Lots of local boats to book day trips snorkelling etc.

Can we go inside the water and swim (not an expert swimmer). Is it shallow or deep?

Probably this is the only beach to swim in lembongan, but there will be boats all around, not a pleasant experience
