Punka Cave is the largest in a series of caves in this area. You pay for a guided tour that includes a boat ride on an underground river..quite unusual. Beautiful formations throughout. Well worth the trip for cave lovers.

Well worth a visit. The tour and the boat ride were really good and I would recommend it to anybody visiting the area.

The caves have a very special atmosphere thanks to the specific undeground environment - cold, humid and dark. Be sure you take your jacket and comfortable sneakers, and just enjoy the alien feeling of this place. It is a good idea to come out of...More

It looks like that the only way to get into these caves is by making reservations in advance. In the very least, it is best to call before starting off to head there because it could easily eat away several hours of your time going...More

If you want to see underground river and take a boat trip on it, this is the right choice. The dripstone decoration is not fascinating. If you are interested in stalagmites, choose a different cave.

The caves are amazing but no English guided tours. They give you a small brochure but this gives you less information.

Amazing! A must see. Limited number of tickets available each day so book in advance. If you didn't book in advance, go early as unclaimed tickets become available. Several other options if main attraction is sold out so it's worth the chance if you didn't...More
