An amazing experience. We were lucky to join an American group for an English tour of the main caves. The structures are just fantastic. Don't miss the boat ride in the underground river. The other caves are also great - there's one which is used...More

An hour by car from Brno and we arrived to untouched nature. First we went to a tour of the cave system and saw many different dripstones, all of which have different stories and myths. Then we took a boat ride in the Punkva caves...More

It was a huge surprise, walking inside the mountain and discover espectacular places, figures and scenarios... and then a trip on boat through a meandering river! The boat’s captain is very entertaining, but unfortunately he speaks just Czech language. Great experience!!!

These caves appear straight out of Lord of the Rings movie. In fact its true that the caves in the movie are inspired from Moravian Karst. There are a number of caves - dont remember the names exactly and you need to book in advance....More

Book or I don't think you will get in for the full trip. Arguably the best thing I have seen in the Czech Republic, yes castles are nice, but there is something more special about a scene which has not been staged for tourists. Part...More

The best place we visited during our two week trip in Czech Republic. The place is unforgettable. Even though guides didn't talk in English, we weren't disappointed - the view was magnificent!

If you are in Brno, it's worth a drive to get here. (It will be a lot easier, though, if you have your own car...) This trip will combine the drive with a nice little 2 mile hike and then the trip into the cave....More

Blansko is 30mins by car from Brno away, check in advance if guided tours available, you have proper shoes for wood and slippery stones. Extreme fair restaurants to eat (Golem) Don't be disappointed if English guide is crap, the view is worth it

Depends on a cave. Nonetheless Sloupsko-Sosuvska cave is wheelchair acessible. Otherwise the caves have quite steep stairs or very narrow passages not suitable for people with limited mobility.

I had booked a grayline tour - so they arranged a car, driver and guide. Yes, it is elderly friendly with hand railings, but can be slippery in some areas
