Stopped here on the way to Sambaa Deh Falls. Great spot to stop for lunch (prepacked!) and stretch your legs. Great eating shelter. Very friendly staff.

We pre-booked campsite #4 and it appeared to be a good choice. The campground was completely empty when we stayed there. We certainty did not need to reserve the campground. We stayed mid-week before a long weekend. The campground itself is well equipped... showers, awesome...More

Beautiful campground. Very clean. Patrick, the park manager, was very friendly and knowledgable of the area and advised us to stay in campsite 4 which has a beautiful view of the Liard River and our own trail down to the river for fishing. Highly recommend...More

Thank you for your feedback on Blackstone Territorial Park. I agree the view of the Liard River and Nahanni Mountains are beautiful. My next trip I'll try to book campsite 4!

We were there at the end of the season. It was nice and quiet; beautiful view. The couple looking after the site were friendly, helpful, hard workers. Had an amazing view of the Northern Lights that night. Would have liked to stay longer.

Blackstone Territorial Park is the largest (by acreage) park in the Northwest Territories. It is remote so have lots of gas and supplies when you get here. There is electricity on the sites. Bring adapters if you need them. If I remember right the sites...More
