Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visoko is a small town where two rivers meet, Fojnica and Bosna and has all amenities. I have visited several times and found a great bank, bakery, vegetable shop, supermarket, restaurant, cafe and photo shop. They were all great at customer service with a ready smile and warm greeting. Euros are accepted and you can exchange euros for local currency. The exchange rate is about 2KM to 1 Euro. You can enjoy a meal, stroll on the river bank or enjoy shopping. Wherever you go you will see a view of the Pyramid of the Sun (discovered in 2005), which towers over the town.

The Pyramid of the Sun is the background to the town, the Moon pyramid visible a short way away, and the Ravne tunnels are on the edge of town. The only reason people visit Visoko is to explore, sometimes with a guide, the Valley of Pyramids. There are at least 3 other pyramidal structures, though not developed for tourism, but those interested will seek them out. Just outside town is the small Vratnica tumulus, a structure having similar energy beam as from the summit of Sun Pyramid. Visoko is a charming town with wonderful inhabitants, and in summer especially it welcomes many coaches from other countries who are on a tour of the valley. Volunteers at the sites, and other solo travellers are also on the increase. You will meet many healers and all kinds of energy workers, who are not usually travelling by coach. If you want to visit all the energised structures you would need a few days. Most people head directly to the Sun Pyramid (towering over the town and much bigger than Cheops) and the Ravne tunnels and its associated Ravne 2 park. Bosnia is an inexpensive country to visit, and one big perk is all the 24/7 running spring water, emerging from many spouts in and around the town. There are several big supermarkets and many cafes, a fruit and veg market, and a coach station. A train does stop off but very slow. You will love all of Visoko!
