We hiked to Garibaldi Lake and the trees are amazing, we aren't from the west coast so they were huge and remarkable. We hiked in December and about 1/3 of the way up we got to snow and it was snowing the rest of the...More

We were on a backcountry trip to Elfin lake for some backcountry skiing. Stayed at the Elfin lake shelter (15$ca/ night) for 1 night; could not ski in the area since avalanche rating was at 4/5 all around ... skied back to the red Heather...More

I've been to Garibaldi Provincial park 3 times in different seasons. In summer hiking to Panorama Ridge is challenging and breathtaking, in spring with the sun and the snow it's a gorgeous pictures spot and in winter it's a tough snowshoeing hike full of fairytale...More

Late September and my daughter and I blitzed up to Garibaldi Lake and onto Mount Price which sits on the south side of the lake. A 30 km wearying trip offset by an absolutely stellar weather day. The views from the top of the mountain...More

A really worthwhile hike in the Park to the lake. The lake is beautiful and birds feed from your hand! It was muddy close to the lake and apparently during a large part of the year the lake access is closed due to snow.

We hiked to Panorama Ridge, the lake and then back to the car. It was 21 miles and I was glad that I had trained for it. The views were stunning The water temperature was perfect for a swim. HOWEVER THE BUGS WERE CRAZY BAD!!!

Second time doing hiking and overnight camping at Lake Garibaldi. A 3-4 hour hike up the mountain, depending on your pace, on a very good trail, leads you to the most amazing glacial lake in very interesting volcanic terrain. Campsites with communal outhouses (well maintained)...More

Did the Panorama Ridge hike (combined with stopping at Garibaldi Lake on the way down), in a single day. It's definitely doable if you're in decent shape. The trail is well marked and easy to follow. It's tiring but if you keep with it you'll...More
