This is the house of a Portuguese lawyer exhibited as it appeared a hundred or two hundred years ago. Even though they have tried their best to make it authentic, it failed. It looked more like a school exhibition. Even the audio guide was not...More

Do yourself a favour and choose another activity or another colonial mansion to visit as this one here won't add absolutely anything to your cultural knowledge. The whole place is run down, dusty moldy. The artefacts on display are of very little interest. I am...More

A must see for any one interested in history and culture. It gives an idea of how life was in the house 200 years back. The audio guide inside the museum isn't great. However, the sight of what's inside the house is more or less...More

Great for history lover. This place given you an idea about how the Goan culture developed. Would have preferred a guide instead of being guided by the electronic device. Nevertheless a a nice time here

An old Portuguese house depicting early Goan life. Old trinkets, furniture and labouring devices are doted around the house. I would have liked more time there but it was rushed as the tour was guided by electronic voice over machines. Too rushed really

A sound and light show walks you through how a real life Portuguese lawyer and his family lived a few hundred years ago. Several of the implements, vessels, practices and customs have a direct imprint on the Goan way of life today.

This is just opposite to Big Foot. It is an actual house of the 1st judge of Goa. All the items used by their family are kept intact and the house itself is converted to a museum. There are 2 guides who take you through...More
