Beautifully kept-a credit to the maintenance staff.

What a quality asset this is to the town.Particularly enchanting in the early morning-especially when Mt Taranaki pushes through the clouds!

A beautiful park with lots of space for everyone. Perfect for children to play (great playground) and plenty of room to kick a ball around as well. Lovely seats for the elderly to sit and relax and look at the gorgeous gardens. Great for couples having a romantic picnic. Perfect for family - young and old. Well kept gardens. One... More

Beautiful park kids are loving the changes been made ton playground only let down is the sheer amount of prickles in the lawn! We visited quickly other days with 2 barefoot toddlers and had to leave as they couldn't walk anywhere

These gardens are well groomed and set out. A lovely leisurely stroll around them is perfect way to finish the day taking in the sights, smells and tranquility of the gardens. A must visit place when in Hawera

I grew up just south of Hawera and so this park is a place where we used to visit frequently. My kids have been here and it is somewhere that I would take my grandchildren. Just a beautiful area to be in, large and lots of space. The gardens are beautiful - just love it.

An immacuately maintained public park that Hawera should be very proud of. Loads of room for kids to run and play and beautiful gardens for the adults to enjoy.

I visited this park years ago as a child and loved it then. It is still wonderful and my children love it too. The grounds are extensive and very well maintained. There are roses, fuchsias, and many different types of flowers. The children's playground has lots to interest children of different ages. This park is definitely worth a visit for... More

This park has it all, it is maintained beautifully with rose bushes, hedges, a Chinese garden, lawn areas (shaded and sunny), tennis courts, playground, and large pond. There are often local events held here like the model boat club event in November, and the local arts and crafts market in early December to just name a few. It is well... More
