    Incredible
We had our EOFY Party in the Barossa we started our day with a tasting at Torbreck Wines. The weather definitely worked in our favour with beautiful sunny day although still cool, we had wonderful table inside with a beautiful view out of their large window overlooking the olive trees and vineyard. The Torbreck Winery Team was absolutely amazing. Their hospitality, and engaging staff were wonderful. Jay was very well informed and gave an excellent presentation of their wines, the vines, and the history. We tried quite a few on and off the menu and all their wines were delicious! We couldn't resist ordering bottles for the office and ourselves! A big thank you to the whole team, A special mention to Alexandra for her wonderful assistance in organizing the day via email and ringing to confirm details for our order on the phone and Andrew for his wonderful charisma - such a darling! Our first winery visit in Barossa
I’ve enjoyed Torbreck wines for many years and picked their cellar door for my first stop on this Barossa trip. Our host was funny and knowledgeable and made the visit fun. Impressive tasting room. Worth a visit. Their wines don’t disappoint.

    Rhone elegance with Australian power
Ever since we purchased our first bottle of Run Rig (the '02 vintage I recall), Torbreck has been one of our very favourite wines. After many years, we finally made the visit - and came away even more impressed. A visit here is all about the wine; not restaurants, golf courses or circus acts. The staff are friendly, knowledgable, attentive, and very helpful. We were delighted to find that Torbreck has pushed further into the Rhone white varietals - the Cuvée Juveniles Blanc being both exceptional and a great value. Amongst the "big reds" it's hard to single out one over any other - suffice to say that we bought as many bottle os "The Factor" and "The Struie" as our luggage would allow.

    Great tasting experience
We turned up without a booking yesterday (don’t risk it at the weekend or high season) and were given a very warm welcome and an excellent tasting of Torbreck’s delicious wines. Andrew and Nicholas were very knowledgeable, but it was very much a conversation rather than a lecture. We would throughly recommend.

    Exceptional wines
We have just had the pleasure of being introduced to some extraordinary wines at Torbreck, the wines simply amazing and made all the more enjoyable thanks to our host Gus, who despite his youth showed an incredible knowledge of wines, the area, the techniques and history. An exceptional winery, with a host that made our day. A must experience cellar door.

A quite disappointing experience had much higher expectations for the ability to taste their full or as full as possible range. The staff were good but for a fairly quiet morning very understaffed which also spoiled our time there and left us with unanswered queries.

Turned up with no booking.
Very friendly & accomodating welcome.
Great full range of wine. Of course you can blow out on the Laird or Runrig (both fantastic) but the rest of the range are also worthy of special attention.

Staff were great, really informative and helpful.

Tasting room was very comfortable with great views and acoustics. (Not obnoxiously loud like many)

Well the wine was excellent especially the Runrig but the wine pouring was 10ml per person, 6 wines, $40 per person. The two somelliers are also 2nd year uni students who can't really explain the wines either, in terms of history and palette complexity.

Really fun afternoon. We did the GSM mixing “experience” and really enjoyed ourselves. Alex was an excellent and warm host. Real range of options for different pallets and budgets. Would highly recommend.

Torbreck prides itself as one of Australia’s top wine producers in terms of quality and the wine tasting experience mirrors this goal. Peaceful, highly knowledgeable staff and generous range of wines available for tasting, it was a great experience for a wine lover like me. While the shiraz wines are outstanding, the grenache is often overlooked but it is just as good so please give that a try.
