We visited by bus from Corvara for a break in our mountain walking holiday and a different experience. The castle is very atmospheric and the displays on Ladin culture were cleverly set out. The museum becomes more interesting as you go through the upper floors - the most insightful sections on Ladin culture and way of life are at the... More

We stopped here for a coffee during a cycle ride and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Stunning views and interesting history of the area.

It is a really interesting museum. I'm sorry I didn't had enough time to go through everything. It was hard to understand the history behind the Ladins and sometimes the guide was too long

We walked up from the village along the quiet windy road, principally to get the view but ended up also going in the museum. It gave us a taste of the Ladin mountain people's culture via the display and audio tour. I particularly found their day to day living and self sufficiency struggle, being so cut off, fascinating. Worth a... More

A fascinating insight into the Ladins - their history and their culture. A very enjoyable and educational 2-3 hours. Including a meal aferwards in the restaurant. Recommended.

Your ticket to the Museum Ladin Ciastel de Tor also admits you to the Museum Ladin Ursus ladinicus in St. Kassian. I wasn't expecting too much of the latter but it was terrific. I was expecting a lot from the former, but it was not. I expected to learn a lot at the Museum Ladin Ciastel de Tor about how... More

So many good reviews, but we didn't find this place to be interesting. Part of the problem may have been language. We only speak English. Signage is not in English so the only option is the audio tour, which was so slow and boring and abstract. We got frustrated after 15 minutes and gave up on it. It was like... More

I liked the content and views from the castle tower. The history of the Ladin people is very interesting and includes an artwork by Gilbert and George; Gilbert comes from Antermoia, I believe. Nothing to dislike.
