We went to this place during a rainy season and there was so much water in the river we couldn't explore the area. A local person told us that this is a good place to go and swim in summer but certainly we couldn't imagine swimming there when we were there.

Accessible from Inakahama, 15 minutes by car, Yoggo is a small valley comprising a stretch of foest and a small beautiful whitewater river. Quite a romantic spot - great place for a picnic. Be careful after rains as the river would be treacherous and advise against swimming. Really need a car to visit. Spend 1 -2 hours here.

It's a rocky area with a beautiful clear river running through it. The rocks are easy to climb on, so if you have courage you can climb really far! I went on a sunny day, but the river was still a little rough at some parts. I... More

It is a wet walk, but well worth it to get to the congruence of two rivers. Rapids throughout, and beautiful green Yakushima .

We got there very early on a rainy day so there were no visitors. Mind your step as those rocks tend to be very slippery. If it's raining and you are driving, keep in mind that there might be red crabs on the road. They will leave once they see the car but try to keep an eye out for those... More
