If you are on Tanegashima between August and October, snorkeling at this location is off the hook! Be sure to go out only if the waves are calm. This is a rocky beach, so not the best for swimming - but for sightseeing it's great! The cave is nice to see, and it's fun to hunt for whelk shells by sifting through the massive buildup of shells and rocks at the cave mouth on the far side. All of the surrounding Injo Beach is worth spending some time... More
