九州最大の反射望遠鏡を使うと天体が目の前に見える感じ。

車がないと夜間の見学は難しい。港からだと歴史民俗資料館を通り過ぎて、左折。街灯ないから注意しながら進まないと看板見逃します。

トカラ列島の中之島にある天文台。管理人に開けてもらう必要があるが、中之島に行ったら是非見たい。天然のプラネタリウムが見られる
