Superb view from the top. There were 2 observatories which were close to the ropeway station. Even without much hiking, you can absorb all the amazing scenery. If i had been there in the summer, i would definitely walk through all the observatories.

Once you get to Kankakei Gorge, you should climb this mountain! It is about 45min to 1hour to summit and the view of Seto see is Amazing! This mountain used to be castle, therefore some heritages and shrines are remained. It is also cool!

different style with other place in Shodoshima. the shape of mountain is quite different and good look also stunning. although we don't take cable car here but worth to visit

This famous tourist destination has a lot more to offer than just beautiful autumn colors. Its geological formation was made out of eruptions 13 million years ago. The rocks and granite you see between beautiful greens/autumn colors make this place very special, and it is no wonder this place has been selected as Japan's top 3 beauties of national valley.... More

A great view to see the grand waterway between significant Islands. Since Shodo Island been a Japanese site rather than int'l visitors's; there were least foreigners reaching the summit. But you can feel how touched deeply was when the locals stare at Seto Inland Sea there. The pass toward the peak took about one hour, and there were several routes... More
