This museum was a highlight of our visit to the area. With only one artwork within an amazing piece of architecture, it is most definitely worth an unhurried visit.

One of the most impressive things we have seen during our visit to Japan. This is a must see! The serenity inside this installation is absolutely amazing. Totally worth the trip. The island itself and the ferry ride are also spectacular.

You can get to teshima by several ways. But I recommend a ferry from Uno-port to teshima. JR train: Osaka station --> ShinOsaka JR Shinkansen: ShinOsaka --> Okayama JR train: Okayama --> Uno Ferry: Uno --> Teshima Ieura... More

Train to Okayama (Shinkasen-every 2 hours- takes 1 hour 21 minutes): local train Okayama to Takamatsu (leaves every 30 minutes-takes 54 minutes) Ferry Takamatsu Teshima (3 times a day takes 38 minutes)
