井原鉄道矢掛駅の駐車場横の高架をくぐった所にある神社だ。位置的には鉄道を挟んで矢掛駅の反対側にある。村の氏神というのか、産土神という感じの社殿だ。内神は屋敷内に祭る同族神、荒神は岡山など中国地方によくみられる台所の神様だ。すぐ近くにうどん店はあるが、観光的な神社ではない。

井原鉄道の矢掛駅ホームから直ぐ目の前に見渡せます。但し駅舎側の反対なので実際に参拝するには少し遠回りになりました。境内には祠があるだけですが、大きな木に覆われており、矢掛町重要文化財に指定されている"ネズの木"と説明されていました。
