The view was just breathtaking, so beautiful and spiritual. The rock road was hard to walk but I enjoyed the historical beauty. I found people don't speak English there that much but they are really king and nice. Most of them understand some English words....More

There are many interesting things to see in this area. These waterfalls figure in the top ones. It's worth a walk at the end of your trip to check them out as you walk down from the shrines.

Very impressive to see Japan's tallest waterfalls, right along the 3rd Grand Shrine, Nachi Taisha. You can even walk down near the water to get a better feel and view.

Amazing view of the waterfall. You can relax and enjoy the sound of it. There are some shops nearby and toilet is available. Bus-stop is nearby too if you are not hiking the trail.
