Japanese calls here "Aegean in Japan". You can see the Japanese amazing nature especially special white rocks(limestones) and crystal water. Here is a beach front park at a free of charge, and if you want camping, or scuba diving, you can do it here There are cottages to stay the night over and camping car spaces. you need to book... I live in Kobe and I've been there twice so far. I use the Shirasaki Ocean Park primarily as a scuba diving training facility but it's much more than that. There are cabins to rent, campgrounds, restaurants, changing rooms, onsens, an indoor pool for scuba training, and two separate ocean entries for open water scuba training. The staff is friendly... This is a cool place - huge limestone rocks emerging off the coast. We enjoyed having a look and stopping for a break. Entry was free although there seemed to be a ticket gate - it could be seasonal.
