Kasamori Kannon was founded in B.E.1327 and the main hall of the temple was built in B.E.1571. The temple is located on the mountain surrounded by the forest. To reach the temple, you must climb up on many stair steps. By the way, it is not too hard to reach the temple. On the way up, there is holy tree with the hole on the trunk. You can climb through the hole for good luck. A short walk from the tree, there was the entrance of the temple. The hall height is 16 meters and the roof is 31 meters above the ground. The structure of the temple is called Shiho Kakezukuri style. To enter the main hall, you must pay 200 yen admission fee (as of May 2019). Hiking and trekking in the forest behind the temple can be done if you have time to enjoy the greenery forest for fresh air.
