I visited there for watching the sunset. However, the weather that day was not too good. But it is still good to walk around the cape and looking at the natural view. Also, the light tower worth to visit. It is a nice place for the whole family to enjoy. Free parking is provided. A food truck is there to... More

Cape Zampa is a peninsula on the western side of the island near Yomitan Village, which features a beautiful beach. Views are gorgeous, calm water scene with a lighthouse.

Great place to watch the sunset. I like taking pictures so I got there early to take daytime pictures as well. I didn't go in the lighthouse, it seemed a little crowded. Easy to get to. Definitely worth doing, especially to see the sunset.

One of my favorite places on the island of Okinawa, Japan. It has breathtaking views and gentle sea spray on your face in the breeze is just what life is all about. I sat here for an hour or so just relaxing in no hurry with my own thoughts. Very zen!

We took a trip there on a whim and were not disappointed. Beautiful views and more to see than meet the eyes at first. You need to pay a small fee to go up the lighthouse but it is only 200 yen and children are free. Make sure and bring some comfortable walking shoes and a little extra yes for... More

Great walking area with glorious views. My children enjoyed the nearby play area and I enjoyed the beach and the walk along the coast.

We spent 1.5hrs here soaking in the views. Pay a nominal fee and walk up the lighthouse to get even better views of the cape. One would fine many local climbing down and hanging on the cliffs to fish or chill. Quite a sight. There's a park to walk and a rest place with restaurants to dine. Well worth the... More

Breathtaking cliff scenery and furious waves made our experience an unforgettable one. We went on a particularly windy day which made for an even more dramatic experience.

Did not go up the light house as you need to pay to go up, but the surrounding area has great views too. The waves crashing on the rocks are amazing photo places. There are some large boulders moved by typhoon in the past.
