We came around this place during the sunset hours and it was fantastic. The shops were closing but the view is amazing. However, beware of the throngs of tourists with selfie sticks who are too absorbed into getting a perfect picture that they tend to stick around the few perfect spots longer than welcome.

This place has very strong winds, I guessed same as any other Capes in Okinawa. Comparing to Cape Hedo and Cape Manza, this place is most crowded with tourists, so much I had to wait to take pictures. View is beautiful too, though I find Cape Hedo Observatory better.

I must say that the view is beautiful but because it was too windy, there is nothing one can really do except to complete the pathway. To pay credit to mother nature, even my 3year old son can recognise it is that of a elephant.

Small site where the U-shape track is less than 500m. We visited in the afternoon and the wind was blowing so hard that standing still to take photos was difficult. Of course this created wind chill so wearing wind breaker is essential. I guessed main attraction is the 'elephant' cliff. There were 2 rows of stores selling local and Japanese... More

I had gone there during sunset and it was very crowded. While the sunset view is a beautiful set to hold with the sunlight casted upon the elephant-shaped rock, the rock doesn't look very clear when you take a picture of it. I find the place too crowded to my liking and you can explore it within half an hour.... More

This place is very touristy. Load of shops lined up before the short walk around the cape. We spent about 1/2hr here and we left. Must add that the elephant shaped rock was unique though...plus great views during sunset time.

Iconic scenery seen on numerous postcards! Still magnificent albeit commercialisation. We went to see the sunset! Beautiful

it was a site to behold... in its own nature and steadfastness. however, if you have seen the wonders along the Great Ocean Road, this can actually be a miss due to the inaccessibility of the location. cheers.

Breathtaking view and 1 of the recommended spot to visit for photography enthusiast! Remember to avoid peak timing due to group tour buses.

The carpark is lined with stalls selling souvenirs. Follow the short walking trail and it leads u to the cape manzamo. It looked exactly as seen on internet!. It is extremely windy, i think it is not advisable to wear hats there. The path is short. Not sure if there were other walking trails. We were being pushed to move... More
