After 7 trips to Hakuba we finally got around to visiting the Ski jump stadium. We hired a little car this time, so made getting around easier although there would be a shuttle bus that passes by I'm sure. This is really worth a visit. You take a chair lift to the mid point and then there are lifts that... More

How often do you get up close and personal with a winter Olympic venue especially a ski jump. It is daunting ! it is high! It is great to see the medals up close. A little more could be done in the way of displays and to promote the sport in general - it is rather patriotic. However it is... More

Great spot to visit to truly appreciate what it takes to be an Olympic Ski Jumper, as you climb to the top of the big jump you can get an amazing perspective on what these athletes must go through to achieve Olympic glory. As you make your way down the tower there is a great history room full of mementos... More

There isn't a lot of tracks at this mountain which is why it's only average for me. The jump park is great though!

What a great activity to add another element to a ski holiday. The staff at ticket office and on the chair lift were so friendly and helpful. This gave a beautiful view over the Hakuba valley and an insight into the sport of ski jumping. A very interesting collection of Olympic memorabilia too.

Not one for those afraid of heights. No safety bar on the chairlift ride up. Totally amazing! The folk that do this are crazy/fearless. Worth a visit!!!

Enjoyed ski jump area which we visited after our days skiing as it was adjacent to the bus pick up area.

Again skiing here late December and snow levels low preventing a lot of the runs being open. What was open was fantastic with some of the most gorgeous surroundings as a back drop. Will definitely return later in season next time.

Nice walk to Hakuba Ski Jump Arena from Happo Village. It was great to visit the arena which allows you an awesome view of Hakuba and surrounds from the K-120 jump platform. Heaps of displays and information/history about the Nagano 1998 Winter Olympics. Gives you a very real insight into how brave you would have to be to slide and... More

One of the venues from the 1998 Winter Olympics, the ski jump arena is a strangely compelling thing to visit. Even though I am terrified of great heights, I braved the chairlift (that has no lap bars to hold you in by the way) to the tower, then took the glass lift to the viewing lounge for awesome views out...
