totally dont get why the trees in this area are so popular that they have so many people hankering to see them...no issues skipping this in totality imo.

Do not need to purposely go there because of a tree. Biei itself has a lot of attractions you can go.

A photo of the tree was on a Tobacco brand which is all that makes it famous. For me it was a nice shaped tree on a rise but that's it. Pretty well unexciting.

The place is filled with warning signs telling visitors to keep out of private land. I don't see anything fascinating to see here.

This was another tree our tour guide pointed out on passing. It is another ordinary tree made famous by TV commercial. Really need to see the commercial to understand why so many visitors made their pilgrimage here.

Nothing spectacular as it is just a lonely tree. However, the drive around the area offers a great view of the surrounding landscape and scenery. Place is also peaceful and quiet too. Recommended to drive/cycle around this area.
