Not sure what the attraction is here, but would not go out of your way to find the Ken & Mary Tree. Seemed to be popular with others though.

just a tree, nothing more. If you short of time, no need to consider to visit the tree. There are more interesting places in Biei where you could enjoy the countryside scenery.

It was one of the famous tree in Biei. If you are driving, this can be one of the places you want to add it in since all the places of interests are around there. If you are Travelling by public transport and bus. Maybe...More

Nothing special with the tree... The journey to that place is too far to walk from the information centre (Train station), but quite nice scenery to see during winter.. If you drive or rent the bicycle, should be ok. When we reached there, we only...More

Tourist spot, but good to rent a bicycle riding around Biei to absorb natural air of green meadow and farms. This famous tree was in the film where many tourists come to take photos, just less than 5 mins.

Even though I didn't know much about the ad that got these trees to be so famous, they were nonetheless a pair of cool trees, plus when you were driving around Biei, you were bound to see them. I wouldn't say it's a must see,...More

I had heard of the other tree- seven stars tree - but not this one. Both are worth visiting but I actually preferred this one. They are within Kim's of each other. Driving this country roads is a lovely way to spend a day.
