This is quite a commercial place which should be very popular with tourists. Although off peak during my visit, it was relatively busy. The flower fields were amazing and you can take many beautiful pictures in this place. There are also some snack stalls and a souvenier shop for die-hard shoppers. You must try the sweet corn on the cob... More

Big farm of flower field. Took the tractor- tolled shuttle to go around the farm. Together with good sunny day weather, you will be able to get good pictures!

Just as it says on the tin. Wonderful flowers on mass in structured rows. Absolutely gorgous to look at and wander around and that's in October. From May to August it must be even more spectacular. Also, have a little fun at the same time by paying ¥1500 and hiring a golf buggy for two and spend 20 minutes being... More

Colourful flowers planted all over the hills. There have tractors to bring visitors around but need to queue up and will be long queue as summer quite packed with tourists.

This is indeed a breathtaking array of flowers. Judging from photos from other years, each year has different plantings. I was expecting brilliant colors on one hill and it was an intriguing blend of earthy oranges, ochres, and sages. Contrary to other reviewers, I didn't think the tractor cart ride worthwhile. It bounced so much one could not take photos... More

Take the Norokko (tractor bus) ride which will give you a beautiful panaromic view of the flower gardens. Pretty rolling flower fields. Dont forget to buy the croquette. Also excellent to try is the white corn and melons.

There are a lot of flower fields in Biei / Furano area, but I like this one the best because of the hills. The flower field spanning wide looks much more beautiful when placed on the hills, with farms and vegetables fields faraway as backgrounds. There are few small shops at the entrance so you can get snacks and souvenirs... More

This is one of the tourist stops but there were hardly any as we arrived early (at 9am). Unlike other flower farms in the area, this is set on a hill, so pictures look more impressive (you can capture a large expanse of flowers from the top looking down). Multicolored rows - very impressive. Free to enter but JPY200/pax donation... More
