Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The church is interesting as the interior has some unusual orange colouring of beams...other than that it's totally uninspiring as is the Plaza on which it faces. Ond or two OK csfes abd pastry shops for empanadas. But warning, don't take pictures of locals in their cultural clothes purple skirts, without asking as most do not want pictures taken as it is seen as an intrusion into their way of life.

Silvia is cute and on Tuesdays (market day), when the indigenous people from the surrounding villages come to sell their agricultural and artisanal products, very lively. The church and the main square are picturesque.

I recommend taking a tour of the surrounding countryside and indigenous villages. Fredy, a local guide (speaks a little bit of English) can be found on the square in front of the church on Tuesdays and weekends before 11am. Or ask for him at the hotel (also: see pictures). His tour is excellent.
