A wasted trip!..I've just found out that because of family problems Phill Collins had to close the museum. I wanted to see some of the pedal cars and associated ephemera I sold him for the museum.

Just to let everyone thinking about visiting it is now closed and wont be reopening according to the website and the signs outside the museum - very sad as it was a good specialist museum.

A fine collection of old cars a associated paraphanalia,lots to see but no touching. Take you back to toys in the 50s. Nice tea rooms, where you can look out on to Kent and East Sussex Railway. Whole trip should take about 90 minutes, well...More

It a funny place when you walk in. We paid at the cake counter, then you go though a door into the museum. Lots of interesting facts and old toys to look at. You can walk around in about an hour and a half so...More

Costs £5 per adult but lots to see. Many beautiful pedal cars from all eras, Dinky toys, a Tri-ang section, Tonka toys, teddy bears........the list is endless. The only bad thing I can say is seeing all the toys from my youth in a museum...More

Make sure you allow plenty of time to view the exhibits as there is a lot to see. In addition to the many pedal cars there are numerous other toy vehicles of the Dinky & Corgi type plus other toys & memerobilia from yesteryear. Excellent...More
