We stayed at a local ryoken in the village and they offered a drop off service to the park. We started walking from the Enza cafe (which is good for a visit) and found the information centre first. This isn't where you purchase your tickets...More

We have visited the park in the summer but it was great fun. Parking is not free and the road leading to the parking is rather narrow. There is also free parking two kilometres away. The monkeys keep to themselves and do not jump on...More

The drive is beautiful and once on the path its a nice walk, especially in the snow. I thought the snow monkeys were cute and not at all harmful, the cost was good and we all really enjoyed it. I would recommend the snow monkey...More

This was really cool to get up close with all the monkeys in their natural habitat while they acted so calmly with all the people around.

Though you may not get the classic monkeys in snow and steam combo it is still endless fun here in summer right among the monkeys as they play, wean, fight, preen, or just laze about. Come with plenty of camera storage space and battery power....More

Cool to see the monkeys in their natural home. But it's a small park don't expect too much. We managed to see a snake as well!

During our May visit, the monkeys greeted us well before we even entered the official area of the park. The drive up is scenic and exciting, thankfully not as exciting as it would have been if we'd encountered a downhill vehicle on our uphill trek...More

Quite a long hike to see them through a snow covered forest but well worth it. Mid afternoon and quite a few monkeys around. We went late March and the snow was just starting to melt. Quite a lot of people there looking at the...More

I went in April 2017, there was still a bit of snow and if you wait enough you will see a monkey in the pool. The fed them around noon so many monkeys came for that. Also count, that it's not so close on foot. You will spend... More

There is one steep part of the track - but this is concreted - so unless you slip in monkey poop you will be fine. Have fun in the rain or sun!
