The craftsmanship of the products is incredible and reasonably priced. The owner is friendly and enthusiastic about not only the products he makes but of all the products in the store.

My husband and I so enjoyed our stop at the Woodsmiths Studio. The shop is small but full of beautifully handcrafted pieces of art - vases, bowls, storage boxes, clocks, and so much more. This is one place we wished we had more money to...More

We were very impressed by the unique designs available. From bowls, animals, containers, and vases all made of wood. Definitely worth the stop if on the Cabot Trail.

A nice selection of wood pieces at very reasonable prices. If you are driving the Cabot Trail, and stopping for lunch across the street at the Clucking Hen, it is worth a quick look.

We probably lingered the longest at the Woodsmiths Studio than any other artisan stores. They had a good selection of wood works, reasonably priced. We later saw similar wood works in Boston that was priced twice as much, and the quality wasn't superior.

So appreciate your description of our shop and pictures. You are correct in mentioning smaller items. Many customers purchase clocks or smaller cutting boards. Also, we are currently in the process of making smaller boxes. Thanks for suggestion -Bob.

Happened upon this while driving the Cape Breton Trail. Enjoyed the nicely made and cheaply priced wood products immensely. Friendly staff, and you actually see into the shop from the showroom. An enjoyable short stop.
