Amazing waterfall, but one hour driving from Ponta Delgada, then walking one hour up, another hour down, with our 4 years old and 9 months old. I don t recommand this place with small children, it is dangerous. Also you have to take good shoes.

Not the easiest walk, but it is worth it. Even the rain didn't spoil our fun of getting to this pretty waterfall.

We went on the hike ''Ribeira do Faial da Terra'' which brings you to Salto do Prego, a beautiful waterfall. Also you will pass a medieval town, which is very special to see. Can be a little bit slippery, so look out. The start of...More

This circular and easy trail goes to a beautiful waterfall, where it must be amazing to swim in warmer months. The hike is very easy, but it might not be convenient if it is raining heavily. The village of Faial da Terra has a couple...More
