After stopping past into the shop with friends to see if we could do a tasting without doing a tour, we were told it wasn’t possible to taste without having booked a tour. It’s the first distillery any of us had encountered where this was...More

We make it clear on our website that tours have to be booked in advance, and there is an online booking system. We are a working distillery and for Health & Safety reasons we can only allow 20 people per tour, which we generally hold...More

Visited here for a tour as a birthday treat. We were the only couple on our tour slot! It was fascinating to hear about how the company came into being, its development and the tour of the (small) distillery understanding how they make their excellent...More

We enjoyed our (pretty short) tour of the distillery, but would have liked to know more. It was all very simple - more information would have been interesting, and could have made this a 5 star day out. The whisky is delicious but cheaper in...More

Hi Mary, Thanks for your review. The tour includes a visit to the exhibition area, a tour of the distillery and a tasting, and takes an hour. We explain the basics and encourage people to ask questions which our guides are happy to answer. So...More

I went with my husband yesterday. I’m not a drinker and really only went to keep him company. However it was very interesting and I learnt some great facts about the making of whisky that I didn’t realise I wanted to know! The tour takes...More

Hi Jed, Thanks for your review. For others reading this, the tour takes an hour, which includes some time in our exhibition area, a tour of the distillery and visit to our tasting bar. Nosing whisky is very important and we need our noses to...More

I like whiskey. Therefore, this is a biased review. Anywhere that serves a tipple after an informative and interesting guided tour is always going to score highly with me. However, the distillery is worth a visit even if you are not a whiskey fan. After...More

Visit here in September 18. What a great decision! Was so interesting and so reasonably priced! You get the full tour of the distillery and then at the end you get a taster of either the whiskey, vodka or gin! Would 100% recommend to anyone.
