Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The view is amazing, there is a lot a wind but is worth it. Ideal for a small walk on the shore, to the pier.

I can highly recommend this great spot for a rest or overnight camp on the road to Ushuaia. This Lago is a little way out of the town of Tolhuin but easy to find, and has easy access to the hoary from North and South. You can swim if it's not to cold. There might be a stiff breeze to contend with but you'll almost certainly love this place regardless

It is an idyllic lake, with turquoise water that makes you want to take a dip even though the water is cold. There are no businesses around so I recommend taking a picnic. I understand that there are some wooden cabins next door but they are only rented by locals for the weekend.

It is a lake that I don't like, when you go on the Tolkeyen company excursion you see the beaver dams, and you pass by Escondido Lake which is not pretty either. We went in a large group. The most beautiful thing about the excursion was riding an ATV in Park Austral and the lamb we ate. I liked much more the excursion I did another year in a 4x4 through Fagnano with Kayak on Lake Escondido, the company was Antartur. I liked the quadricycle in Park Austral but it is a very short walk (1 hour), it would be nice to do a walk of several hours with a picnic.

The place is 40 minutes by car from Ushuaia. On the way you pass through the Garibaldi Pass. It is a beautiful place to spend the afternoon. There is nothing around so bring supplies. The color of the water is like that of the Caribbean but cold. It has a little swell on the shore. It is surrounded by pebbles. Do not miss it.

The view of the lake is breathtakingly beautiful. The beach and the endless coasts make it more beautiful and exotic. I recommend it

Hola!
