Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Love Pembroke. Had a nice walk on the beach last night as the sun started to set and there were still a few people around enjoying the sand or the sea. Long Sandy expanse with some rock pools for exploring at low tide in the middle of the bay before it becomes Lancresse bay. Beach cafe, kiosk, toilets and car parking…. all that you’d need for a day at the beach.

The beach is sandy and gently sloping. There is a cafe (the Beach House) and a kiosk for snacks and drinks. A short walk out to either headland will bring you to a fort. The ruins of Fort Pembroke are a short walk in a westerly direction and Fort le Marchant is a short wail to the east. Fort le Marchant provides scenic views over the bay but you need to be careful because the building has dangerous drops which are not suitable for small children and the area is sometimes used as a firing range.

We walk on Pembroke regularly and often walk from our house to the beach.
It is a beautiful beach.

We have been swimming twice this year late evening and it really is beautiful.

This is a wonderful beach, sandy when the tide goes out and gently sloping for swimming. There is plenty for everyone, we enjoyed drinks and snacks from Pembroke Kiosk, the lady working here was particularly helpful. She helped us with bus times, which had changed the day before we were there.

We went up to Pembroke Bay so I could do the parkrun and I wasn’t disappointed! Amazing views and a lovely cafe on the beach for a coffee afterwards!

Pembroke beach is located to the North of the island. With the tide out it has a vast beach area great for children to run around on in complete safety, even with the tide in it is very shallow and great just to play in. The cafe and bar are popular and the toilets are impecably clean, like all the public WC's in Guernsey.

Guernsey has a bay for everyday whatever the weather with Pembroke and adjoining L’ancresse two that standout. At low tide the sand is vast where children and adults a like can play or just sunbathe. If the wind gets up a bit then maybe the surf will too lending itself to a nice bit of body boarding. Drink and snack kiosks have a good selection of items but why not bring a picnic. If you are a visitor to the island then Pembroke is easily reached by bus. If you have a hire car then plenty of car parking.

The beach is wide and long and sandy. The day we went the sky was blue and the sea green and the water was so clear, you could have been in the Caribbean.

Really quiet but with great views and places to explore. All on the easy bus routes of Guernsey if you don't want to drive around
