Went here for a random look out with the family. There is now a wood structured kids play area here next to entrance. The reservoir further up is also a nice looking walk. Fishing and sailing can also be done here.

Came here whilst on holiday to walk the dog, lovely walks around the reservoir, the little cafe sells nice coffee and others beverages. Great playground for children too.

yes you can circle water I would thing about 10 miles but that is my estimate not official distance, It is beautiful.
