I simply love this place. It's a place of wonderment and an example of dedication to those who give up their time to keep the history of the Second World War and other conflicts alive as a reminder of the sacrifices made. I urge you...More

The collection of militaria - mostly vehicles and hardware - is very impressive. It is a huge site with a vast array of items. It is quite expensive (£11 per adult when we went in May '17) but you can see why, because it must...More

Whilst visiting friends in the vicinity we were taken to this museum. Being ex-forces we both found the exhibits interesting. The entrance price was thought to be a little steep and no forces/veterans discount is offered.

There are a series of rooms with information about the camp, military vehicles and models however we felt that the £11 entrance fee (no reduction for pensioners) was expensive.

The approach and exterior of the collection is unprepossessing. A friendly reception leads into a series of rooms, some of which contain displays of weapons, models and uniforms, whilst others contain the military vehicles. There are a substantial number of exhibits for such an out-of-the-way...More

I spent 3 hours today looking over this extensive collection of military vehicles. They also have amazingly crafted models of planes, ships, vehicles and battle scenes. The collection weaponry and uniforms are also very interesting. On entering the collection the first thing you see is...More

Visited today and only had about 80 minutes, but worth it, despite £11 entry. The collections are very good indeed, the condition of many equipments excellent. Well worth a return visit. There is also info on pre-world wars militia, civil matters, a good shop, but...More
