There's an old world charm about Montgomery, and it's reflected in this nice little museum. The slide show is interesting, showing views of the village over the last 125 years, and the displays are neatly arranged with much information.

All things Montgomery but afraid to ask. On 2 floors which are themselves uneven and old floor boards. Staff v enthusiast and helpful. Grand sum of £1 to enter. Ideal to while away an hr.

this little building is chock-full of local history gems. The Brits do local history so well-it's not always open, so check at the library if it is closed-visit the hardware store until opening time!
