It’s such a shame but this restaurant / pub has closed its business down and is now boarded up with “for auction” sign up. I hope someone buys it and opens it up again but I fear it could be turned into yet another home...More

My first (and last!) visit to The Ringlestone Inn! My friends from Lincolnshire came to stay with me for Christmas, so we decided to go out for a meal on Christmas Day. I am certainly not the type to just complain without very good cause,...More

15 walkers descended on The Ringlestone on a Sunday lunchtime and the kitchen rose to the challenge of providing baguettes, soup etc despite it not being their usual practice. The triple cooked chips were particularly praised. We were happy with the service we received in...More

Visited this pub again today after several years, and was very disappointed. In the child's play area there were several items of dog mess and the garden was unkept. On arrival the landlady came from doing the washing up to serve me and complained that...More

Very nice food but at extortionate prices. £4.50 for a pint of lager is more expensive than some of the West end bars in London near to where I live. You get a 10% service charge added to your bill." a little cheeky" although the...More

As a pub that used to be renowned for real ale this is now very disappointing ! Only ales were "off" spitfire and a poorly Master Brew ! We feel don't eat but I assume that is now this pubs forte !

Hi Laulls, I was shocked to read of your poor treatment by this woman. I live in the Lake District, but my late aunt lived in Lenham and we used to visit her a couple of times a year. We always popped in to the haunted pub for drinkie poos and a (very expensive) Ringlestone pie. But the staff were always courteous and it was a pleasure to eat there...I am so sorry your party was ruined. Believe it or not, some of our nicest meals have been at the Roebuck ..down the hill at Harrietsham, the Vintage Inns (Park Gate and the White Hart at Brasted. Kent is a glorious county, but partially spoiled by too much tar mac and concrete. However, out towards Rye ...via Headcorn is 'old Kent' and so memorable. We have not been down there since my aunt died in 2012, but will visit soon...God willing! If you ever get up here, you should try the hotels at Grasmere for a break....a wonderful place and not as commercial as Bowness etc. Take care.
