York Bird Of Prey Centre is home to over 80 Stunning Birds Of Prey. Including owls, vultures, hawks, falcons and even eagles! We pride ourselves on giving a HANDS ON EXPERIENCE here so we have an exciting daily program which includes flying demonstrations, regular educational talks, and the opportunity to handle our birds throughout the day. We offer one to one experience packages which gives customers an experience they will never forget, we are also available for outside events such as school visits, weddings and other functions. Sponsorship packages are also available for all of our birds, and we do run several special events throughout the season such as car shows, and photography days! Check out our website for further details! Please note we are disabled accessible, we have an onsite cafe serving cold food and hot drinks, unfortunately dogs are not allowed on site. We are also closed on Tuesdays and would also close in severe rain and wind. Please contact us for any further information!

Excellent place to visit best bird of prey center to visit such knowledgable staff and some great display of birds would highly recommend it oh and the freshly made sandwiches and cup of tea

We were really impressed. Perhaps not as professional and organised as some Birds of Prey venues, but the owners/staff really seem to care. Plenty of handling opportunities. Demonstrations that run on beyond their slot. Everyone just seemed so keen to show of their birds! Great...More

so yes it was nice to see the birds they have there the only thing is that does not take long to do really so we thought we would try out the crazy golf this was sadly unmaintained and unloved with nettles and thistles so...More

I agree with the other answers. Reasonably wheelchair friendly, but the staff will ensure that you are able to get about.

You can visit the center at any time with your entry ticket, however, you can't start your visit, have a pass out for your afternoon tea and then finish off your visit.
