Lovely day out. The meer cats and wallabies were delightful, even saw a baby joey coming out from mum's pouch.

Enjoy talking my son here. The play area is very good, lots of birds to see and the wallabys are very friendly. Took out the years pass on first visit.

Always on the hunt for somewhere new to visit with the family, I had seen friends had visited here and we decided to try it out. It was a lovely day out, with some beautiful blossom on the trees and a large area to explore - just what the children needed to blow off some steam during the second week... More

On our way north we paused to visit Thorp Perrow Arboretum. Not knowing what to expect we were thrilled with what we found. The gardens and trees were immaculate, the lake with the house as a backdrop spectacular and the falconry an unexpected thrill. Colin the owl is magnificent and I could have watched him all day. Extra excitement was... More

Took youngest son and a friend who is keener than the Xbox than the outdoors but he was converted by the bird shows and particularly enjoyed seeing the marabou stork walking to heel! The wallabies were as usually a pleasure to feed and stroke, especially the one with... More

No matter how many visitors there are always... More

I have just returned from a birthday celebration stay in Richmond and visited Thorp Perrow on Sunday. What a lovely find it is! The gardens are beautiful, with walks amongst tree lined paths with lakes and ponds. The birds of prey demonstration was informative and enjoyable and it is possible to book a session with the handlers for a hands... More
