    Fireworks
Bustling beach with many activities. Restaurants, juice stalls, straw sellers everywhere. Fireworks every day. Few minutes walk to Cenang Mall the biggest in the area. It remains alive till late night.

    Amazing beach
We visited this place and enjoyed the hustle bustle, You can pay watch fireshow in the evening and watch the sunset. There are lot of water sports in the area and many vendors that will sell you packages. There are restaurants that give sunset dinners and you can also sit on bean bags to watch the fire show for RM 40+ for couple. There are lot of restaurants and street shopping in the area, Don't buy any Kilm geoforest tour here you are better booking it directly from the website.

    Change has & is happening.
Wide beach and a good length, lovely fine sand. It’s quieter towards Casa Del Mar end but alas as others have stated, it’s become very busy with jet skis during the day and vehicles driving up and down the sand dropping & collecting them in the morning and evening. The cars / trucks don’t seem to care about people walking along the beach and often people have to jump out of the way as the cars try to go up the inclines. Also as the block footpath runs the length of the beach this is now used by mopeds to drive up and down all day long again forcing people to get out of the way. Lots of rubbish left on beach at sunset, but this generally gets cleared up the next morning or sadly washed into the sea. Construction taking place and some larger buildings being built, especially towards the Park Royal end where what looks like a rather large development is being built, Tropicana Cenang.

    Always changing beqch
It's relaxing peaceful days may be in the past. Each time we go back it gets busier and busier, at the southern end of the beach there is now a large Park Royal hotel and a development for 800+ apartments. At the northern end opposite Casa del Mar is plans for a new shopping mall, still a few years away but more and more development. You decide if it's a good thing or not. The actual beach is still lovely, nice white sand good swimming. Jet ski's and parasailing still active as ever.

A bit like Patong in Phuket but on a smaller scale
Stopped in Cenang Beach on the way back from Crocodile Adventureland and visited the beach. Reminded me a little bit of Patong in Phuket but on a smaller scale. Lots of beach activities to do, wonderful views and close to shops, hotels, cafes etc. a little bit of litter strewn around which was disappointing. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Worth a visit, but I think it's over developed.
I was a bit disappointed. It is a nice beach, but certain parts have been taken over by jet-ski tours and paragliding companies. Certainly spoiled it a bit from when I came 10 years, ago. Its certainly not what I would class a tranquil.

You have to see the sun setting on this beach, it is very lovely and the sand on this beach is the finest I have ever seen and super soft.
If you are into water sports, you can get a lot to entertain you with for a handsome fee of course.
I would definitely recommend if only for you to go see the sun setting, lovely.

It is a hugh beach with nothing much to do unless you are very keen with the water activities which quite pricey to me. The day time is absolutely very hot if it is not a rainy day, the water is not the clean & clear compared to Koh Lipe but it is still all right if you would like to swim but no clean & clear water for your information. There are restaurant along the beach that run by the hotels. Nothing fanciful. Perhaps maybe it will be more exciting after sunset as some restaurant set up the dinning tables on the beach. There are some fire show around perform by the local, it is not free coz they will collect money from you if you are standing within thier audience boundary. Well stay away if you are not feeling to chip in.

It's a great and clean beach.
Lots of activities in the evening. It's fun to just sit down and have a beer in the evening.
Lots of water sports to choose from. It's says 120 MYR on their price list but we got each parasailing for 60 MYR per person .

The Cenang Beach (Pantai Cenang) in Langkawi, Malaysia, is one of the best beaches on the Island of Langkawi (Pulau Langkawi), situated on the western part of the island (Cenang Township), and about 10 Km from Langkawi International Airport.
The Cenang Beach is a very nice beach with white powdery sands, clear waters and plenty of water sports to enjoy (e.g. water skiing, parasailing, etc.).
The Cenang Beach is a picturesque strip with an alleyway on the upper part of it for nice walking (during day or night, avoiding the sand), with beautiful sunset, perfect for sunbathing (with sunscreen, as the sun is very hot) and for swimming when the tide waves are favorable (e.g.in the morning).
On the beach you can have drinks and cocktails (not all serve alcohol) and some happenings and shows (e.g. fire shows) and you can dance until late in the night.
Cenang Beach is the busiest and liveliest part of the island of Langkawi and sometimes is a bit crowded. Also there are a lot of restaurants, bars, hotels, souvenir shops, duty
free shops (selling alcohol and chocolates) next to the beach (or the main street) and this makes Cenang beach the most interesting beach of Cenang Township and on the whole Island of Langkawi.
I liked my holidays on the Cenang Beach (Pantai Cenang) on the Island (Pulau) of Langkawi and I would like to return after the Coronavirus Pandemic.

After visiting Langkawi for over 30 years, I have seen this beach go from beautiful to over-crowded and then now with Covid, back to beautiful. I wish the government would put a stop to the development around here so that the beach will not be overcrowded. But this place still attracts general tourists.

Probably the second best beach after Tanjung Rhu, but not far off it. They run jetski tours, parasailing and other water sports but be careful that you select a reputable company.

It is a good spot to watch the sunset if you like seeing it set over the water, the beach front is packed with resorts and restuarants so you can get a nice view as you eat a meal and then at night time there's fire dancers and sometimes music playing.

Chilled place to hang out.

Just buy a fresh coconut from a mini bar for RM7.50 and rest yourself on a rattan carpet and a bean bag chair under coconut trees. You can even see squirrels running around.

It is one of the best spot in Langkawi to watch the sunset.

Unfortunately, I can still see garbage and cigarette butts on the beach. Hope the authorities and the locals could do more to prevent people from littering (it is very sarcastic as some local workers would just simply throw their cigarette butts on the beach).

Anyway how, it is still a place where you can enjoy yourself with great view and fun water sports.

WiFi everywhere even in beach bars. scooter hire is cheap and plenty to see. room next door to aquarium. night market every night with food stalls. i will be going back some time. miles of unspoilt beaches exactly as the photo shows.

Nice colour sand, firm wide beach which is easy to walk on, not too overcrowded, good for sunsets, nice to sit back and people watch, water sports available.
Not the nicest ocean, jelly fish and not clear water. Majority of places don’t sell alcohol, we’ve been here a couple of days and probably spotted 10 in the length of the strip. Limited beds on the beach, £2 each for the day.
Some parts are not the cleanest. Things don’t have to be new and modern to be clean, but I’ve been disappointed numerous times.
Not seen any massages on the beach, but plenty of shops in the road behind, 60 minute foot massage approx 60 MR which is £11 ish, body massages slightly higher.
Scooter hire requires a driving license and costs £7 per day approx. Use cash for fuel not foreign bank card to avoid pre authorisation charge being taken.
Fire show on the beach was excellent.
Subway, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s deserts all in the centre.
Had a nice enough time, but just missing the wow factor for me.

Wide long beach with white sand, palm trees, coffees.. You can rent ymbrella& 2 sundbeds for 20rm per day.
Lot of water sports you can try here.

Even when there is lot of people, you don't feel like it's owercrowded. Sunsets are beautiful from the beach.
The less beautiful thing is that there is lot of jelly fish in the water.
