Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Awesome holidays with family at this place . Lake is pristine . We went in summers so lovely weather for outdoor activities like cycling and picnic at lakeside. People were flying kites and sailing . Cheerful atmosphere and safe too. We spent days hiking and cycling . Memorable holiday .

We visited the area with family including kids and enjoyed the breath-taking walk around the lake. We parked the car near the sailing club and walked around. One can park near the schloss as well.

Amazing! I almost bet the Swiss don't want more people to know about their secret haven for thrilling kiteboarding as it is paradise both in the summer and winter. Surrounded by the Eastern Alps, the lake is crystal clear which is a big reason this is a beloved place for kitesurfing, kiteboarding and people watching. While we were there in summer, we heard the same activities go on on top of the frozen lake in the winter. Wow!

The Silvaplana Lake was simply beautiful and we saw yatching and parachuting activities. An impressive mountain panorama frames the lake landscape, simply magically beautiful here.

We visited the St Moritz area in September and there was a hint of autumn as the leaves were beginning to turn colour. The lake is lovely and the water clear and with the sun glinting off the water it created a chocolate box photo. The lake freezes over completely in winter allowing winter sports to take over. Pity we didn't have more time here.

We visited in autumn when the Larch wood trees turn a golden color. There is plenty of hiking for all ages. It is best to get a ticket which allows you to use all the public transport.

Me and my husband visited this place in summer. There are three lakes in this area of Switzerland, a lake in St. Moritz, a lake in silvaplana and another lake called sils. All these lakes are picturesque, small and quiet. Silvaplana lake is amidst nature, surrounded by mountains. There is a small castle and a waterfalls near the lake. We took a bus from St. Moritz to reach silvaplana lake and sils lake. There is walkable road beside silvaplana lake. Any nature-lover would be mesmerised to see these small wild lakes.
