We had a Christmas holiday BBQ with friends. We decided to stay put at the Governor Philip Park for the day. The place was overcrowded, and we struggled to get parking. The cost was exorbitant- $10/hour or $40/day.

Drove up the northern beaches and stopped off in Palm beach, parked up inlet facing side and walked along Snapperman beach reserve and up to a vantage point. Really nice side and some great looking cafe/restaurant. The Barrenjoey house looked lovely.

There are some downsides it’s understandably very popular so it gets really busy.
Getting parked is only one problem the other is that it’s $10 an hour!
This is a beautiful beach at the very northmost point of the Northern Beaches. There are regular buses that drop you off right near the beach and there is also plenty of car parking nearby.

2) According to information Flamin' Galah Sydney Tours website, the Official Home and Away Tour to Summer Bay currently runs every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The pick-up point is at 1.15pm outside the sliding door entrance to the Museum of Contemporary Art on George Street, at The Rocks, Sydney. Please wait at the Museum entrance on the George Street side and NOT the waterside. When the Tour is over you will be dropped off at beautiful Manly Beach around 5pm. From Manly, you can then get on the iconic Sydney ferry back to Circular Quay (30 mins, approx. $7.4 per person).
