When people are mentioning the "Home and away," it doesn't mean anything to me, since I am not a TV person. Yes, I heard the title, but never watched it. This beautiful quiet beach can speak up for itself. To go to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse...More

made famous by Home and Away personally, I think its a bit overrated. At the end of the day, its really just a beach.

What a hidden gem Palm Beach turned out to be....so beautiful with its crystal clear waters and quaint village feel. Really enjoyed the round trip ferry ride to Ettalong as well.

We had a Christmas holiday BBQ with friends. We decided to stay put at the Governor Philip Park for the day. The place was overcrowded, and we struggled to get parking. The cost was exorbitant- $10/hour or $40/day. There were only 2 toilets for females...More

Drove up the northern beaches and stopped off in Palm beach, parked up inlet facing side and walked along Snapperman beach reserve and up to a vantage point. Really nice side and some great looking cafe/restaurant. The Barrenjoey house looked lovely.

There are two sides of the beach, one area have tides and waves you can surf on while the other side is calm and you can swim and snorkel. Lovely beach as well as you can also visit Barrenjoey Lighthouse although you would have to...More

Although this is technically Sydney, you might as well be miles away. This is a lovely, quiet beach-side town. Plenty of parking available (but $10 per hour !!!) and also serviced by public transport. There are two beaches: Palm Beach and Palm Beach North, both...More

The Palm Beach area is full of very nice homes, likely 2nd homes of successful Sydney folks. It's also a quiet and serene beach that would be easy to fall in love with. I think all the Northern Beaches are worth visiting but Palm Beach...More

You make the journey to experience places like this. It’s as the picture postcards suggest ... idyllic. There are some downsides it’s understandably very popular so it gets really busy. Getting parked is only one problem the other is that it’s $10 an hour! But...More

This is a beautiful beach at the very northmost point of the Northern Beaches. There are regular buses that drop you off right near the beach and there is also plenty of car parking nearby. This beach has shimmering blue water which is very refreshing...More

There would be a long hike up to the lighthouse which would be a few klms. The houses are set on the side of hills and once again it would be a long climb.
