I loved Palm beach! its insanely beautiful! And only took me about an hour and a half drive from East Sydney. The walk up to the light house is a must, I recommend walking up the "easy" trail first, which is a steep hill (walking down would be very slippery) and then walking down the "difficult" trail which consists of... I absolutely loved palm beach although it took me around 2 hours to get there from downtown Sydney by bus. I walked up to the lighthouse to take photos of the two beach shorelines and it was beautiful. There are two paths to get up there: stairs and a sloped walkway. They are both relatively easy paths. At the top,... More

Lovely place for the views even though the swell was rough on the day we visited. Kids loved the sand and running away from the waves. Beautiful scenery and great place to relax. Parking is hard as the place is so popular. Try getting there before 10 and parking should be easier. A walk up the lighthouse will complete your... More

Right at the top of the peninsula Palm Beach was the location for Home and Away. Great waves, nice and wide, clean water and a great vibe. Parking isn't too difficult but costs $4 an hour (like everywhere up there) though it is possible to find some free spots just up from the beach. If I could own a beach... More

we keep going there especially over the weekend. If you like to swim, or sit and watch the ocean and get relaxed, or like to have an hour and half walk up to the lighthouse to watch a spectacular scene, or hire a boat and relax on the water, or try a delicious food, or walk on the beautiful sands,... Amazing spot, but hell to park - either choose your time carefully or go somewhere else : ) Great snorkeling in around the rocks on a calm day

Home and away fans will love it- nice cafes and beach shopping- walk the beach- swim in pool at southern end- fish off rocks for brim- but pick a quiet day if you can. Awesome natural beauty and just a lovely place to hang. RSL and golf clubs are great too.

Came here today (Sunday) on a sunny day which meant it was packed and hard to park. Palm Beach is now my favorite beach. Heads up if you plan on driving it's $4 an hour to park here between 8am and 10pm or $20 for the day.

What a superbly pretty little location. Today the water was smooth and the weather cloudy but fine. This is such a tranquil location. Recommended.

I honestly love this beach. It's just as great as any of the other ones, but it's not as busy. Less people, more space to spread out. It's a bit of a drive to get to but the drive is well worth it. And the homes up against the cliffs, simply amazing.
