The Best Diving in Panama. Coiba Dive Center is located in the heart of Santa Catalina, Panama, just a one-hour boat ride to world class diving. Coiba National Park has been described by many as the "New Galapagos" and the "New Cocos," Isla Coiba is by far the best diving Panama has to offer.

I spent nearly 6 months travelling through Central and South America, and dived in every country from Belize to Colombia. The diving around Coiba Island was certainly the best - the highlight was spending over 30mins with two huge manta rays, but in addition to...More

Our dive master for the trip appeared to be hungover; he was extremely lethargic, barely spoke to us, and spent most of the trip out and back asleep. When we actually did dive, he just rushed around the dive spots without taking any time to...More

The staff is laid back and professional. The diving (I did a 3 tank dive) was great. The variety of marine life was excellent. Saw lots of sharks (no whale sharks though). Boat is fast. Gear is good. Dive with them.
