The Musee maritime du Quebec is the largest museum of its kind in Quebec and Canada. Proprietor of the national maritime collection of Quebec, the Musee owns a large variety of artefacts and ancient documents that relate to all sorts of maritime events as well as two life-sized ships.

Your ticket for the museum is a season pass! In 2017, buy a ticket on your first visit, and visit us as many times as you want, all summer long

The reception was not too friendly with an English speaking guest other than that it was fine. We have to reserve a tour for the both and boat model room. Being ahort on time we opted for the boat. Highly recommended for history buffs and boat lovers.

This is an interesting museum. In addition to the information inside, one can walk out behind the building and that's where most of the exhibits are located. There's an old icebreaker, an experimental vessel that used to be in the Canadian navy, and another vessel. One can board these and tour them. It's a museum that's worth seeing if you're... More
